Summer Reading: For Parents

I would love for every parent to have some time to relax this summer with a good beach read of their choosing.

However, this is typically a time of year when many adults spend more time with children. A time when schedules change, routines are disrupted, family members visit, travel unfolds.

Summer gives you a new data set about your child regarding their needs, their strengths, their challenges. And a new data set about these same qualities in yourself.

Here is a selection of books - some about parenting, some parenting-adjacent - that can be a part of your reflective process.

I also suggest - for those of us who acquire books with all the best intentions, but have little time to read them - that you consider podcast interviews with these authors. Digest their work in whatever manner fits into your life.

Find them all here.
