    Sarah primarily consults with parents so that they can consistently and capably support their children in daily life.

    She does engage with children directly, including home visits, to ascertain a child’s specific developmental needs.

    Sarah will also work with children and families directly to help facilitate changes in relational dynamics and model positive engagement.

    Lastly, Sarah considers all the individuals in a child’s life - including caregivers and other family members - as she helps guide growth.

  • We believe in the power and potential of parents. We have confidence that parents are often the ideal parties to support their children as learners - not apps, shows, or tutors.

    Because children learn through relationship, parents have a great deal to offer that typically goes underdeveloped and unacknowledged.

    We help parents discover how to utilize their strengths, skills, and knowledge to support their children in straightforward and enjoyable ways.

    This also sets a key relational template from the the start. Children come to feel secure turning to their parents to engage with learning and process their world in important ways.

    You wouldn’t want to outsource that.

  • Sarah primarily works with parents in virtual consultations. She meets with children and visits home settings in person in New York and Connecticut.

  • Initial consulting sessions are 75 minutes and allow Sarah to develop a thorough contextual understanding of your child, your family, and your experiences as a parent.

    Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and focus on helping parents develop the skills, knowledge, and mindset to better serve their children in the work of growth. These sessions are a time to address specific scenarios and learn how to function more intentionally and responsively as a parent.
