Weekend Wonder: Grace Farms

Autumn is just starting to touch the Northeast, and it has me thinking about places and spaces for children and adults alike to appreciate the season, together.

Grace Farms, in New Canaan, is a lovely environment created for human beings.

Not just children, and not just adults - both.

You see that it was created with children in mind in many small ways.

The size and design of the outdoor seating and indoor reading chairs. The children’s area of the library and the art-making spaces. The foam blocks on the basketball court and the open soccer field. The walking trails and the flourishing garden with inviting low beds.

And it’s also an incredible setting for adults - calm and enriching.

It’s a place for a gorgeous Sunday afternoon or a rainy Saturday morning.

It’s a space for quiet contemplation or full voices. A place for stillness as well as movement.

If you’re looking for an experience that includes meaningful learning, nature, and play, Grace Farms is calling.
